Practitioners have compiled some lists of significant resources for ScrumMasters of various skill levels. Select the one that corresponds to the level at which you are working now.

Reading List for ScrumMasters

Inquirer

Helpful reading for those investigating Agile ways to develop software, or considering involvement in such projects. Provides an idea of what to expect, and why this way of working is so different and rewarding.

Apprentice

The best way to learn Lean and Agile concepts is to experience them. However, once involved, reading what others have written can help deepen a person's understanding and hasten their readiness to take on a fuller role.

Journeyman

Learning the basics can be done relatively quickly, but mastery requires experience and reflection. The journeyman ia the man or woman methodically applying what they have learned and making the challenging journey to an essential understanding of the Lean and Agile approach.

Master

The master practitioner has broad experience: of different kinds of organizations, of different team dynamics, of varied kinds of projects. These readings will help support the application of this knowledge.
